For my kickoff food post I wanted to share a recipe that is first and foremost: DELISH! 2d, the recipe reaps the benefits of being healthy – no butter, no vegetable oil, protein and fiber packed, and full of goodies like complex carbs, chia and flax seeds. Third, the ingredients are easy to discover. (Don't you hate when you find the perfect recipe and then realize that there is at least one ingredient on the list that requires you lot to expedition across boondocks? Aye? Ok, good, me too.) And"¦ last but not least, the recipe is Easy to make. I'thou not even kidding here, yous don't even accept to turn the oven on. In fact, you'll have these whipped up before your oven even has time to preheat.

Meet your new favorite go to snack – Organic No Bake Energy Balls! These piddling guys tin go along for up to a week in the refrigerator and are great for a quick breakfast on the go, snacking and even dessert! In addition to making these guys for your own indulgences, you can also make them for meetings (believe me, your coworkers and clients volition give thanks you at that 3pm meeting where everyone is dragging. Call back: HUGE kudos!) , birthday parties (much better for yous than cake and brownies!), cookouts, tailgating, camping ground trips, road trips, baby showers, lunch boxes (adults and children) and more! This recipe is slightly modified from Smashed Peas & Carrots.

  • i/2 loving cup of organic peanut butter
  • 1/ii cup of organic ground flax seed
  • 1/ii cup of organic chocolate fries
  • 1/3 cup organic honey
  • 1 tbsp organic chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. organic vanilla extract

Catch a medium sized basin, combine all ingredients together (there really is no special marching society here) and then mix all the ingredients together. Once all the ingredients are well mixed (they should exist sticking together), place the bowl in the fridge and refrigerate for almost 20 – 30 minutes. Refrigerating the mixture will make it easier for you to curl the balls – the ingredients will not stick to your hands. Once chilled, ringlet the assurance in between your palms to make almost one″ assurance (y'all tin can experiment hither, the size is completely upwardly to y'all!). Depending on the size you roll, this recipe volition yield most 20 – 25 balls.
